Method of Belt Tensioning
1. Calculate the deflection distance in mm on the basis of 16mm per meter of span. Center distance(m) x 16=Defection(mm).
2. Use a spring stability and rule measure the force of your belt, if the value falls inside of the values provided, the drive ought to be satisfactory. Othewise, use the Torque arm’s turnbuckle adjust the stress in the belt. (Note, the force course along with the belt needs to be a right angle).
